Nitric acid (HNO)3)

This acid is very manufactured and used in the chemical industry.

It is used to make explosives such as nitroglycerin (dynamite), trinitrotoluene (TNT), trinitrocellulose (cotton powder), saltpeter (sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate) and black powder (saltpeter + coal + sulfur).

Acetic acid (CH3COOH)

Organic acid present in vinegar. It is widely used for seasoning salads and mayonnaise.

Carbonic acid (H2CO3)

Inorganic acid present in carbonated soft drinks. It is formed by the reaction of carbon dioxide with water, making the drink more refreshing.

Acetylsalicylic acid (AAS)

This acid is a drug commonly known as aspirin. It is obtained from willow bark acid. In ancient times, it relieved pain and fever.

Today, it is known that aspirin decreases fever, pain and inflammation.
